Katerina Brosda launched her real estate career when she and her husband needed to sell their custom-designed home, but encountered difficulty finding an agent with the chops to successfully market it for them. “I knew everything about my property and the community, so I realized that I could sell it myself!” she recalls. Brosda did just that after completing a training course and acquiring her license, which actually led to selling her house to the first client she showed it to and doubling her original investment. While she had never previously envisioned herself in the real estate profession, her acumen for helping people buy and sell property made it a natural fit. In fact, it has garnered her standing as a top 0.5 percent sales producer and numerous accolades like Century 21’s Masters Diamond Award and Double Centurion Platinum Producer Award.

Self-described as “naturally outgoing,” Brosda’s love for meeting new people, extensive knowledge of Miami and commitment to serving her community make real estate the perfect fit for her talents and interests. “This is a people-oriented business, so a good agent needs to be able to connect with clients,” she says. Her specialty is serving luxury homebuyers and sellers as well as pre-construction real estate investors. She is particularly expert in helping those interested in South Beach condominiums, Miami Beach mansions, Bal Harbour oceanfront homes and, of course, downtown properties. Furthermore, Brosda understands the kinds of outcomes clients want to achieve and tailors her approach accordingly. “Sellers want to sell at the best market price possible and buyers want to buy at the lowest price possible, and I get that,” she says. “I don’t believe in problems – only opportunities – so I rely on my strong negotiation skills to meet my clients’ goals. I don’t accept ‘no’ for an answer!”

At Century 21, Brosda was one of the most successful women under age 30. She holds numerous awards for sales volume and outstanding customer service. Today her own brokerage, Brosda and Bentley Realtors, boasts the Number 1 spot among real estate firms on Google+. In addition, one of Brosda’s career highlights was commendation by world-renowned life coach and motivational speaker Tony Robbins, who honored her for professional excellence before an audience of more than 10,000 business leaders. She attributes her many accomplishments to building and retaining relationships. “Clients know that they can rely on me and that I’m not only there until the transaction takes place because all of them become my friends for life,” says the 13-year industry veteran. “I consider every sale and every purchase that makes someone happy a success story!”

Brosda draws inspiration from her family, including her two children who motivate her daily. In addition to leading her boutique brokerage, she serves as the Dade County chapter president of Pajama Program, a nonprofit that delivers warm sleepwear and nurturing books to children in need, many of whom are waiting to be adopted, to ensure they enjoy a good night’s sleep. One of the chapter’s most recent efforts was delivering pajamas and books to Baptist Children’s Hospital just before Thanksgiving 2015. “Miami and its people have helped me become successful, so I want to pay that forward,” Brosda says. “There’s no better way to do that than making a difference in a child’s life.”
