Zoom Developments teamed up with Lynx Strategic Development and with EDSA, the company responsible for the master plan of Atlantis in The Bahamas, to create Playa Blanca.
The Playa Blanca district is located on the Pacific coast of Panama, a 75-minute drive southwest from Panama City, the Tocumen International Airport, and the Panama Canal. Playa Blanca also has a regional airport five minutes away from the main town-center, Rio Hato.
Playa Blanca is currently closing out sales in their four 12-story Founders towers, which look out over the western part of the development to the ocean.
Terrazas Villas, located on the east side of the project and directly on the ocean, are two-story buildings featuring side-by-side villas overlooking the beach. The new Towncenter units, starting in the low $140,000s, are now being offered as part of Playa Blanca’s condo hotel units.
One-bedroom condos range from the $140,000s to the $180,000s. Two-bedroom condos range from $199,000 to $250,000 and three-bedroom condos range from $280,000 to $350,000. The three-bedroom villas start at $350,000 and go up to $1,000,000.
Ocean 1 and 2 are two new buildings that have also been launched in the new area called “AIR,” which features views to the ocean and beach and also to the water lagoon in the center of the property.
The tropical lagoon has an advanced technology developed by Crystal Lagoons that keeps the ocean water under constant recirculation. This creates a clear transparency and intensifies color of the Pacific Ocean. A water temperature of 26°C will be maintained year round.
Playa Blanca’s features include a private beach club, spa and fitness center, nautical club, town-center, convention center and kids’ club.
More than 300 units are currently under construction, 192 units have been delivered. Out of the units under construction, 85 percent have been sold.
