The Fall 2006 Collection
In the few months since the tenuous time when Miami Agent published its New Construction: The Spring 2006 Collection, predictions have become fact: The market is undoubtedly slower. However, there is still plenty of inventory moving, and South Florida’s market is buoyed by its continued appeal to international investors. And the feeling is reciprocal. Several U.S. developers, including Donald Trump, have started thinking outside the border and launched projects in Central and South America.
In the following pages, you’ll find properties representing a wide range of local cities, spanning South Florida from West Palm Beach all the way down to Key West, as well as a few other projects in the state. We’ve included international listings to reflect the growing interest in buying and selling real estate abroad, a movement South Florida is positioned to dominate. The guide is organized alphabetically by county and then by city. All the properties shown here were submitted by their respective agents/brokers, developers or public relations companies.
Lissette and Maria Calderon stand proudly at NeoVertika, the recently completed tower of “splits”-style condominiums on the Miami River. NeoVertika is a successor to NeoLofts, a building that blends Manhattan’s loft-living concept with Miami flair, and a precursor to Cima and Wind, two more high-rise buildings currently under construction by NEO Development. These buildings are four of the six that will be constructed within the Riverfront development, a project that will result in nearly 2,000 residential units and 60,000 square feet of retail space. The development plan is projected to be the largest on the river, and the only private community in downtown Miami.
We appreciate everyone who sent in their listings, and we’re confident that those agents with clients interested in purchasing new and rehabbed homes will find this comprehensive guide invaluable in their home search.
