EA Fish Associates, which has recently received two 2008 PRISM Awards, has named Beatrice H. Bastidas project manager for Latitude One in Brickell West. Joining Bastidas on the project is John Protomaster as the new sales and marketing coordinator. Bastidas will oversee the commercial build outs encompassing the design, engineering, permitting and construction, while Protomaster will use his experience in sales and marketing to further develop strategic sales and marketing activities, leading to increased awareness for the project as well as sales results.

Bastidas, who has more than 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, received a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University School of Architecture in New Orleans. She began her career working for commercial and residential projects in Miami and Coral Gables, and has held positions as senior facilities planner for Florida Power & Light and as project manager for Boca Developers and Ocean Land Investments.

Protomaster is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. He owned and operated a high-end wholesale/retail multi-line showroom in the Miami design district and was president of the Miami Design District Merchant Association, where he created programs to increase traffic and business to the district as well as created advertising initiatives and special events nights.

Latitude on the River is a mixed-use condominium community designed by Arquitectonica. This mixed-use community encompasses three separate components including the 44-story, 452-unit residential tower, a 10,000-square-foot building housing a retail bank and Latitude One with retail on the ground floor, including an upscale European cappuccino bar, among other shops.
