N-Play Creates Real Estate Agent Directory for Facebook

N-Play has just launched the first ever real estate agent directory application for Facebook. With this application, 500 million Facebook users are able to easily find and connect with real estate agents who have Facebook pages or profiles.

Facebook continues to expand the reach of its platform to small businesses, the real estate industry being no exception. Studies have shown that consumers spend more time on Facebook than any other web brand by a significant margin. Real estate agents are becoming aware of these vast networking capabilities, too: 80 percent of agents now have profiles on Facebook.

Mark Bloomfield, founder of N-Play thinks that Facebook is an excellent tool for agents. “I think once agents see for themselves how powerful Facebook is for connecting with customers, they will want to set up shop here in a much bigger way than they are now. It just makes sense; it is where the customers are. When you connect with one person on Facebook, you may end up connecting with thousands. This implied referral extends the agent‘s brand and multiplies opportunities to connect with customers,” said Bloomfield.

When customers use the directory to search for agents, they will be provided with agent profiles based on the geographic location and area of expertise best suited to fit the customer’s needs. Consumers will be able to view a snapshot of the agent’s background and services prior to connecting to the agent’s profile.

Agents are able to add a tab to their business pages to further promote professional profiles. In order to add their profile to the directory, agents must log on to Facebook, navigate to facebook.com/realestateagentdirectory, and click on the app install button. The directory service is free for both agents and consumers.

N-Play is also making the application available, at no charge, to Realtor associations, MLS organizations and real estate-focused community pages in order to promote member agents through association Facebook pages.

N-Play currently powers a suite of real estate applications for agents and brokers based on Facebook’s networking platform. With these applications, agents and brokers are able to increase interest and connectivity with the millions of prospective homebuyers currently on Facebook.
