Having lived in five different countries in her youth, Irene Fernandez has always been drawn to international business and real estate. With a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in advertising, plus extensive experience working for Fortune 500 companies, she decided to become an entrepreneur and lead her own luxury real estate business by joining Berkshire Hathaway EWM in 2019. This 15-year Miami resident with nearly a decade in real estate has her own team that services luxury and foreign investors throughout Miami, from Sunny Isles Beach to Homestead.
Fernandez enjoys a mostly referral-based business, as clients say she is a “trusted” partner who “delivers the best service” and “builds relationships that last” far beyond a transaction. Her personal approach attracts discerning buyers, sellers and investors, both locally and internationally. “My amazing team make the process seamless and stress-free so clients achieve their real estate goals,” she insists.
Fernandez’s friendly demeanor, business tenacity and skill at building her own winning team and founding her own company Elite Properties have led to much career success. Not only has she received Top Individual Producer and other volume-based awards from her firm every year since she joined, but she also holds the record for the greatest number of units closed for Berkshire Hathaway’s Miami Beach Office. Fernandez recently closed on a home for a previous investor client, completing five transactions with him in the past three years; “He has become a friend and he trusts my advice,” she shares. She also broke a personal record by securing a contract of more than $5 million for a unit at the St. Regis Sunny Isles, catapulting her past $50 million in career sales since she went full time in the industry in 2018.
This proud wife, mom and avid traveler enjoys Miami’s restaurant scene and boating, and is also passionate about personal development. Most of all, she loves bringing her unique blend of expertise and creativity to the table to elevate people’s real estate game and build her clients’ wealth.
