Standard International and Rosso Development recently announced the launch of The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami, the first of its kind in the area, according to a press release.
The 12-story building is located in the heart of Midtown and centrally positioned between the Design District and Wynwood. It will feature 228 residences ranging from studios to two-bedroom units.
The building will be the first property in the area to recognize the emerging flexible living movement, allowing owners to lease out their units for terms as short as one month, the release noted.

The building will be crafted by architects and designers including Arquitectonica and Urban Root. Units will boast light wood plank tile flooring, gourmet kitchens with custom Italian cabinetry and Bosch appliances and oversized bathrooms with stone vanities and double-suite rain showers.
“The vibe of the residences is tranquil in tone and texture, meant to evoke a sense of calm and comfort, while the public spaces nestled within are spirited and full of personality,” said Giancarlo Pietri, principal of Urban Robot Associates.
Social spaces and amenities spanning 34,000 square feet across five floors will include lounge areas, a cafe, resort-style sunset pool and rooftop restaurant and bar.
Wellness offerings include a sweat room and fitness center, infrared sauna, indoor pickle ball court and yoga and stretch studios. A social floor will feature a karaoke bar and screening room, while co-working spaces include a private boardroom and Zoom rooms.
Construction is expected to begin in 2022 and be completed by mid-2023, according to the release.
