Palm Beach Polo Golf & Country Club estate set for auction

by Kerrie Kennedy

A 15,000-square-foot estate set on two acres at the Palm Beach Polo Golf & Country Club in Wellington is set to be auctioned off on July 30 by Platinum Luxury Auctions.

Featuring a main house with eight bedrooms, six full and three half baths, a pool, cabana house and fitness center — as well as a two-bedroom, two-bath guest house — the palatial home is listed by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty for $9.5 million.

Originally listed for $13.9 million and later dropped to $12.5 million in early 2020, the home, located at 2855 Hurlingham Drive in Wellington, was purchased in 2005 for $12.5 million by Minnesota medical device entrepreneur John Fleischhacker.

According to a spokesperson from Platinum Luxury Auctions, property is scheduled for auction without reserve, meaning that once the live bidding process at the auction begins, the property will be sold to the highest bidder.
