With more than 13 years of real estate experience, Maria Cuadra has become a top producer in Miami. She started out working as an agent for one of the biggest developers in the nation and then for some of the most renowned brokerages in the industry — all while raising two kids. Her growth and accomplishments in real estate were a result of her hard work and passion to help others achieve the American Dream.

Cuadra eventually became a broker and earned her master’s degree in international real estate at Florida International University, where she also had earned her bachelor’s degree. 

Today, Cuadra is the co-owner of the brokerage Cuadra Group LLC, which she opened with her husband. “I am proud of being a woman, wife, mother, professional and now business owner,” she says. “I hope to take my boutique firm and make it a well-renowned name in real estate, to have this to pass on to my children. This office is as much mine as it is theirs. They have closed many deals alongside me.”

Cuadra works with residential and commercial buyers and sellers throughout greater Miami. “My clients love the honesty I bring. They know I’m extremely ethical, and they are comfortable knowing their transaction is in the best hands possible,” she says. “With most clients, we either become friends or have been friends for a long time.”

Cuadra says marketing is the most important part of her business. “The MLS is always a plus, but there is more to selling,” she says. “I love taking my properties into a full marketing campaign: social media, flyers, e-blasts, open houses, getting my team involved and anything else I can come up with to sell!” She says her faith has been instrumental in her success in real estate. “I put God first in everything! To me, being extreme with my belief has made me a warrior in this industry. There is nothing that I fear nor any news that can determine the path my contracts will take. God is in control.”

One of Cuadra’s most rewarding achievements this past year was helping her siblings buy their first home. Another major accomplishment came when she sold a home that had been on the market for over a year, just 25 days after the client hired her as a Realtor. “The home sold for $1.2 million and closed on time. The best part of this transaction is that I did something in less than a month that someone else couldn’t do in over a year,” she says. 

Cuadra is a member of several real estate organizations, including the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is also a Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist and received her Military Relocation Professional Certification. 

Cuadra loves to read, travel and spend time with family. “I love doing things with my kids, making sure they enjoy every day and that they’ll have priceless experiences alongside my husband and me. We do everything as a family,” she says. “God has definitely blessed me.”
