Douglas Elliman Announced Seven Top Real Estate Professionals to Coconut Grove Office

ONE Sotheby’s International.

CEO of Douglas Elliman’s Florida Brokerage, Jay Phillip Parker said the brokerage is excited to welcome the new agents.

“We are always on the lookout for savvy, smart and motivated real estate agents to join our growing company and we feel honored to welcome seven to our Coconut Grove Office,” Parker said. “While their background is diverse, they all share a common thread – working with ONE Sotheby’s where they thrived.”

The seven professionals moving to Douglas Elliman include:

Ceci Samaja has more than 35 years experience in the real estate industry. Since 1978, Samaja has served in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Miami Beach, where she was leading in sales. In addition, she is also experienced in corporate and government employee relations.

Rose L. Harris is a top producing agent with 30 years experience in the real estate industry. Harris works with many international and secondary homebuyers and investors. Her specialty lies in working for waterfront estates, homes and condominiums.

Marlene De Cespedes is a licensed Florida title insurance agent. For 10 years she owned her own company in Coral Gables. However, in 2010, Cespedes decided to switch to sales. She prioritizes building relationships with her clientele.

Kathleen Morris has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Morris started her career in public relations and promotions, which led her to serve as director of administration and vice president for a large company. Prior to this position, Morris has worked for several top firms like Jeanne Baker Realty and the former Wimpish Riteway Realtors. Currently, she works in luxury residential real estate in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and Miami’s waterfront.

Joan André is Morris’s business partner and has 35 years experience in real estate marketing and sales. She recently receive the highest price per square foot in Coconut Grove in Carole Court. In addition, she is also a member of the Master Broker’s Forum.

Marisa Chisena comes to Douglas Elliman with more than a decade of experience and a shelf of awards that represent her talents for both sales and service. “My goal is to always have satisfied clients,” she said, “and with support from this incredible company I am confident that client expectation will not only be met, but continuously exceeded.”

Rosi Borroto earned her degree in architecture, which gave her the tools she needed to freelance as a landscape design artist. Twenty-four years ago is when she began her career in the real estate industry.

Parker said that he is proud to have these new members on the team.

“We are honored that Ceci Samja, Rose L. Harris, Marlene De Cespedes, Rosi Borroto, Kathleen Morris and Joan André all made the decision to join our team,” Douglas Elliman’s chief executive said.

In a statement to Miami Agent, Rose L. Harris shared her excitement as a senior director of luxury sales, at Douglas Elliman.

“After merging my business with Sotheby’s in 2010, I began to witness the growth of Douglas Elliman South Florida as a power player in the real estate industry,” she said. “I admired the tenacity and perseverance of this new game changing company under the leadership of CEO Jay Parker. Being extremely impressed with Douglas Elliman’s South Florida dominance, their amazing marketing strategies, and their corporate vision, I could not resist becoming senior director of luxury sales.”
