Miami has become a beacon for the world’s luxury buyers, with hopeful homeowners coming from around the globe to immerse themselves in the city’s eclectic blend of cultures and lifestyles. There are several properties and towers that personify Miami luxury, and among them is the Melo Group-developed luxury condo development Aria on the Bay, where Miami Agent magazine recently photographed participants of its inaugural Who’s Who of Miami real estate.

Situated in the heart of the city’s emerging Arts & Entertainment District – an area rife with potential for long-term growth – Aria, overlooking Biscayne Bay, draws its name and design from its surrounding, said John Parsiani, the tower’s exclusive sales executive.

“The building’s scalloped façade mimics the shapes of wave crests on a windy day, combined with a series of curving balconies found in some of the world’s greatest opera houses,” Parsiani said, referencing the Adrienne Arsht Center’s ballet opera house.

While the building is still in development, the plans outline a veritable treasure trove of amenities, both in-house and in the surrounding neighborhood, including private elevator access, floor-to-ceiling glass, spacious terraces, European style kitchens and modern, custom-designed cabinetry. Designed with certain communal features, the building’s 14th floor will offer residents the additional luxury of two curved lap/zero-entry pools, a children’s pool, a hot tub overlooking the bay and an expansive sundeck lounge area with custom-seated fire pits.

“Probably the most unique amenity that sets Aria on the Bay apart,” Parsiani noted, “is the building’s location, which is adjacent to Margaret Pace Park.”

The eight-acre park, he said, provides residents with jogging paths and biking trails, a variety of athletic courts and an outdoor gym, as well as several fitness classes and daily yoga.

While building has yet to commence, already the Aria’s units are selling out.

“Following our sales launch late last year, we’ve already sold nearly half of the building’s unit,” Parsiani said. “With groundbreaking expected to take place this summer, we are well on our way to sully selling out earlier than expected.”
