The insane $47 million sale for 3 Indian Creek Island Road, a two-acre estate on Indian Creek Island, is garnering quite a bit of attention in the Miami residential real estate community, and for good reason.
Indeed, the property, which we reported on back in June, is the most expensive sale in the history of Miami-Dade County, even with the final sale price being a minuscule $13 million less than the original asking price. Among the home’s many amenities are: a 100-foot resort pool; an elevator; a chromotherapy spa and massage room; a certified green house; a garage that fits seven limos; and a panic room.
The Indian Creek sale got us thinking, though – what are some of the other most expensive residential real estate sales in Miami-Dade? Here are four other ridiculous deals we came across:
Continuum, South Beach – $25 Million
This property, a three-story penthouse in the luxury condominium Continuum, comprises the 40th, 41st, and 42nd floor of the development, and its $25 million sale made it the most expensive condo in the history of Miami-Dade.
Continuum, South Beach – $16.25 Million
Oh yes, more love for Continuum. This puppy sold just a week after the aforementioned $25 million sale, signaling the scorching hot summer of sales that many agents would experience.
3500 Curtis Lane, Coconut Grove – $13.42 Million
According to Zillow, this seven-bed, eight-bath, 11,000-square-foot property sold on April 6 last year. It was built in 1973, and was originally listed by Sotheby’s International Realty for $16.9 million.
3301 South Moorings Way, Coconut Grove –$10.125 Million
This six-bed, eight-bath property, which is 11,257 square feet and sits on a lot of more than 27,000 square feet, which built in 2007 and sold Dec. 12, 2010 for 32 percent less than its original $14.9 million asking price.
