by admin

A penthouse in Continuum's south tower broke county sales records, selling at $25 million.

A three-story penthouse in the Miami luxury condominium development, Continuum, sold for $25 million, breaking countywide condo sales records.

The unit, which takes up the 40th through 42nd floors of the development’s south tower, features 25-foot ceilings, five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, in addition to its city and ocean views.

The Miami Herald is reporting that the condo last sold for $9.9 in May 2009, and that the recent sale surpasses the $21.5 million sales record for the county, which was set in January. The buyer from Italy, according to The New York Times, closed the deal May 18.

The development also features:

  • 6,000 square-foot outdoor space.
  • A three-story, 25,000 square-foot fitness center.
  • Tennis facilities.
  • Resort-style pool.
  • Private beach access.
