Real estate veteran Sabine Otamendi and professional tennis player JP Smith have joined Douglas Elliman and will work from the brokerage’s MiMo office. 

Otamendi has been in the industry for 27 years and has achieved over $2 billion in pre-development sales during her career.  

She worked at Douglas Elliman from 2016 to 2019 and led sales and marketing efforts for developments like The St. Regis Bal Harbour, One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid and Turnberry Ocean Club, according to an announcement. 

Smith is a new agent and continues to play on the ATP Tour. 

He reached a career-high with an ATP singles ranking of 108 and doubles ranking of 39. Over the course of his career, he’s secured 40 professional titles on the ATP and Challenger circuits and was a two-time Australian Open mixed-doubles finalist.
