What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
That would definitely be my time as a pharmacy technician. I worked both retail and hospital settings, and it taught me so much about precision, pressure and people.
Where did you grow up?
I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, but spent the bulk of my childhood between Tampa and Atlanta before spending the previous five years in Chicago.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I remember since I was four I wanted to become a veterinarian because I love being with pets and caring for them. As I got older, I then thought that I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my mother as an environmental engineer, but in the past few years, it became clear to me that real estate was the profession of choice due to the many relocations my family had!
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I love to create a little at home escape. If the evening weather isn’t ideal for a stroll along the beach, I’ll draw a warm bath light a candle or two and pour a glass of something bubbly. This definitely helps me to recharge and stay inspired for the next day.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I’d love to meet Cleopatra. She mastered the art of influence in a world dominated by empires. Yet she led with intelligence, charm and a deep understanding of human connection. I aspire to bring those same attributes to every client interaction!
What do you love most about the industry?
I love that real estate is about so much more than properties. It’s about people, stories and transformation. Every client is stepping into a new chapter of their life, and I get to help make that transition seamless and exciting. Not to mention the lighthearted competition us realtors all have with each other that keeps us fresh and on our toes so we stay great at what we do!
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
I’d say the most difficult part is that there’s no “off switch.” Real estate in Miami moves fast – calls at midnight, deals unfolding over weekends and clients flying in from different time zones. It’s a lifestyle as much as it is a career. The challenge is learning how to stay fully present for clients without burning out.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
When it comes to marketing, don’t just limit yourself to the people in the state of Florida. Go nationwide or even worldwide too!
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I’ve always had a creative side, specifically in acting and the arts.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Keep at it and exhaust all resources!
