What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Working at the Boca Resort as a server…we saw it all.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I always wanted to be in the fashion industry. I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC because I love helping people dress their best.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would have to say Bob Marley. His music is timeless, and it always puts me at ease. He was all about unity and spreading peace, which is admirable.
Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?
Not sure if it is a secret, but I would say Red Reef Park. It is the perfect spot to just relax and swim, and it has incredible snorkeling as well. We go there every weekend and bring a kayak and snorkeling gear.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Definitely managing expectations. With almost every transaction I have to coach my buyers and sellers about what is realistic.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
We just started Chad Powers; it’s hilarious! I also just read “We Are All Guilty Here” by Karin Slaughter, it was fantastic! Highly recommend.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Build relationships, be patient, learn constantly and trust your instincts.
