Premier Sotheby’s agents, teams named to Sotheby’s International Top 100 for 2023 sales

by John Yellig

Several agents and teams from Premier Sotheby’s International Realty were named in the Top 100 advisors worldwide within the Sotheby’s International Realty network of over 26,000 agents.

Individual agents were required to close at least $79 million in 2023 to be considered. The winners were Karen Van Arsdale of the brokerage’s Broad Avenue office; Gregg Center of its downtown Sarasota office; Cathy Rogers of the Marco Island office; Marilyn Wright of the Asheville office and James Bates of the brokerage’s Fifth Avenue office.

For small teams, the minimum required sales volume was $118.5 million; for medium teams, it was $158 million; for large teams, it was $237 million; for mega teams, it was $316 million. The brokerage’s top teams include the Michelle Thomas Team of Marco Island, the Night-Pinel Team of Winter Park, the Schemmel Soda Group and the MKT Team of downtown Sarasota and the Linville Ridge Team of Linville.

The winners will be honored in November at the Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se in New York City; Sotheby’s President and CEO Philip White is hosting the event.

“This distinguished honor further underscores the fact that our global real estate advisors are in a league of their own,” Premier Sotheby’s President and CEO Budge Huskey said in a press release. “They exemplify the very definition of excellence in real estate, consistently going above and beyond to deliver an extraordinary experience for their clients.”
