The Laurie Finkelstein Reader Team donated more than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties following the brokerage’s 11th Back-To-School Drive.
The backpacks, filled with notebooks, pens, pencils and other supplies, were delivered to three elementary schools in South Florida: Riverland Elementary in Fort Lauderdale, Roosevelt Elementary in Palm Beach and North Twin Lakes Elementary in Miami.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to start their school year with the resources they need to succeed,” CEO Laurie Finkelstein Reader said in a press release. “Our backpack donation not only provides essential supplies but also instills confidence and excitement in students as they begin their educational journey.”
Last year, the drive collected and distributed over 1,000 backpacks to South Florida students.
