MG Developer recently secured a $10 million loan to purchase land in Biltmore Square, its master-planned community in Coral Gables. There, the developer will build The George, an enclave of 13 ultra-luxury townhomes.
Located at 717 Valencia Ave., The George will follow the other components of Biltmore Square, including Althea Row (five townhomes), Beatrice Row (nine townhomes), Biltmore Row (10 townhomes) and Biltmore Park (32 condominiums).
Named after George Merrick, who laid out the city of Coral Gables in the 1920s, The George is expected to break ground in the third quarter of 2024. De La Guardia is the designer.
“We are thrilled to embark on this journey to create The George, a collection of ultra-luxury townhomes that will set a new standard for opulent living in Coral Gables,” MG Developer CEO Alirio Torrealba said in a press release. “The support from our financial partners and the Coral Gables community continue to be instrumental in making this vision a reality.”
