The Coral Gables City Commission approved plans from Constellation Group and The Boschetti Group to develop 4241 Aurora, an 11-story condominium tower.

The mixed-use project is slated for Merrick Park, Coral Gables’ shopping and entertainment district. Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2024. Arquitectonica designed the building.

The project calls for eight stories of 72 luxury condominiums above three stories of parking, retail and office space. The proposed building will stand 137.5 feet tall and include a 5,000-square-foot park.

The condominiums will range from two-bedroom units starting at 1,016 square feet to three bedrooms spanning 1,860 square feet. Community amenities will include a grand lobby, rooftop residents’ lounge, fitness center, pool, pickleball court, on-site retail and an area for grilling and outdoor dining.

“We are honored to have received approval for 4241 Aurora, a development poised to become a beautiful cornerstone of Merrick Park and the greater Coral Gables community,” Constellation Managing Principal Eduardo Otaola said in a press release. “This development will represent the addition of best-in-class luxury living to Merrick Park, which will continue to elevate Coral Gables’ burgeoning reputation as a highly sought-after, world-class city filled with top restaurants, schools, parks and international businesses.”
