What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

I used to work in pharmaceutical sales for Galderma Laboratories. I was in a special program where I traveled the country wherever there were vacancies, terminations or new territories. It was a great gig to see a lot of the country during a unique time in 2008-2010.

Where did you grow up?

Boca Raton.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

As a passionate sports fan, I thought I could wind up as a sports agent.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I like to spend time with my family. My wife and I love going to The Boca Raton with the kids and hanging out at the pool or beach.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Kobe Bryant. I always aspired to his “mamba mentality” and would love to have shaken his hand and thanked him for his dedication to his craft, which I have tried to emulate in my career.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

The Old Key Lime House is Florida’s oldest waterfront restaurant and has a great outdoor sports bar with live music. It’s the perfect place to dock your boat and watch the sunsets.

What do you love most about the industry?

It is never the same thing twice. I love the constant problem solving of putting deals together and getting them to the finish line.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Managing buyers’ and sellers’ expectations following the recent real estate boom. With a shifting market and rising interest rates, it’s a daily evolution of where the industry is moving.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Working your sphere of influence. It’s the most organic way, and you have control of it without spending a lot of money on advertising.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

The Last of Us.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

The beef carpaccio at Principessa Ristorante.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

The Boca Raton Tower. It is an iconic landmark, and nothing in Boca Raton will ever be built taller, which helps make it so unique.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

I once showed a house and the broker told us that the owner was inside but resting, as he was in the nightclub industry. He continued that the owner was motivated to sell and that we should proceed to see the whole house, including the primary suite, where the owner was seen sleeping in his bed.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

Prior to real estate, I was in a master of biomedical science and medical school at Nova Southeastern University.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

The Bahamas. It’s an easy, quick getaway with the family via plane, boat or cruise ship.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Choose a mentor/coach and build a scale-able system.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
