What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

I worked for a mutli-family developer out of Texas.

Where did you grow up?

Boston, MA.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

I actually grew up in a real estate appraisal family business. I knew real estate was in my blood. I just had to figure out if appraiser or agent was more for me.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Indoor cycling, and I use Biostation to make sure my inner body health is perfect

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs was a visionary and a very demanding one. He knew the value of time vs. money, and his focus seemed very practical and intuitive.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

The Grove.

What do you love most about the industry?

You create your own destiny.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

I relocated to South Florida 18 months ago. I didn’t know ANYONE.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

I use my French bulldog. She sparks the conversation, and I run with it.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

Selling Sunset. Huge junkie for Reality TV.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

Papi Steak or Komodo for sure.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

Aston Martin. Absolutely stunning building and I can see it being built from my home now. It will be perfect for the Miami skyline.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

First time showing a unit. Walked into the unit, broken glass, and I thought there was a homeless person living in the unit. I had to call 911 to confirm nobody was in it.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I am shy on a personal level. Professional level I am outgoing.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

NYC. Food, networking and fantastic culture. When I go to New York I look at the trip as a networking trip. I always meet new people who want to move to South Florida.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Patience is key. Don’t give up.
