Sales have launched for La Baia, an eight-story boutique bayfront condominium slated to rise in the southeastern tip of Bay Harbor Islands.
La Baia is the latest project from visionary New York developer Ian Bruce Eichner.
Over a decade ago, Eichner helped put South Beach’s prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood on the map with the arrival of Continuum South Beach. Eichner views Baia as a game-changing development with the similar type of transformative potential as his now landmark Continuum. “The same attributes I recognized in South of Fifth a decade ago draw many parallels to the Bay Harbor Islands today,” Eichner said in a press release.
Set along 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive, La Baia will offer guests more than 30,000 sq. ft. of resort-style amenities. The development will feature an eight-story structure with 68 luxurious residences, 20 boat slips in a private marina and world-class living set against a backdrop of Biscayne Bay and Miami’s ever-evolving, tower-filled skyline.
Priced from $810,000, residences ranging from one to four bedrooms will span between 1,100 and 2,500 square feet. The condos will feature well-appointed fixtures and finishes curated by New York-based Durukan Design.
Each residence will boast spacious his-and-her walk-in closets, balconies with glass railings and a pair of secure underground parking spots for each owner. The kitchens will be outfitted with custom Italian cabinetry by Snaidero, Miele appliances, quartz stone countertops and Hansgrohe fixtures. Primary bathrooms and powder rooms will feature marble flooring and dual rainfall showers.
“La Baia’s waterfront setting offers the optimum active and healthy Miami lifestyle. Now more than ever, families are taking pleasure in a wide range of outdoor activities and experiencing the joys of boating as never before,” said Phil Gutman, Pgutman LLC President, in the release. “Our private marina is a fabulous amenity, as is the ability to kayak, paddleboard or swim. It’s the essence of a Florida lifestyle.”
Miami’s award-winning Revuelta Architecture designed La Baia’s exterior, while world-renowned landscape architect Enzo Enea envisioned the development’s rooftop amenity deck and lush greenery. Suffolk Construction, one of the nation’s most successful builders, is the project’s general contractor.
Bay Harbor Island residents are just minutes away from retail and culinary hot spots and the Miami International Airport.
The project is slated for completion and delivery in November 2023.
