by Stacy Carchman

Sabal Development, specializing in custom luxury homes, closed on two contemporary estates in just two days, one for $6.45 million and the other for $5.9 million, according to a press release.

On May 20, the waterfront estate at 2305 N. Riverside Dr. in Pompano Beach sold for $5.9 million. Located in Pompano Beach’s Hillsboro Shores neighborhood, it is on an intracoastal point lot property, with 240 feet of water frontage. It is a 6,953-square-foot home with a wraparound balcony, custom Italian chef’s kitchen with separate butler’s/chef station, floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, elevator, solid oak doors and sprawling closets. It includes 150 square feet of dockage for a yacht.

The other home is located at 860 S. Shore Dr., Miami Beach, on a secluded island overlooking Biscayne Bay. This 5,121-square-foot Villa L’Artiste is located on a 13,600-square-foot lot within Normandy Isle, a quiet gated community on the Normandy Shores Golf Course and new tennis center. Built in 2021, there are two floors of openly designed space, five bedrooms, five en-suite bedrooms, and two powder rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with Miele appliances, 20-foot high ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows. Plus, there is a 55-foot-long boat dock, oversized heated pool and 40-foot long reflecting pond.

“We are pleased to have sold and closed on these two magnificent custom homes that we built and developed, at record-breaking prices,” Pascal Nicolai, founder and CEO of Sabal Development, said in the release. “At Sabal Development, we ensure that our projects always reflect the latest advances in technology and sustainability, and complement and coexist with their habitat.”
