Making Moves: National Land Realty and Crosby & Associates merge, Coldwell Banker announces ‘Rookie of the Year’ and more

Merger between National Land Realty and Crosby & Associates announced

National Land Realty, a land brokerage company specializing in commercial development properties as well as farm and recreational estates, has merged with commercial and agriculture firm Crosby & Associates, Inc.

“After being an independent brokerage for more than 38 years, we were looking to partner with a company that’s innovative and aggressive in helping us expand our capabilities exponentially,” said Crosby & Associates President Ben Crosby in a press release. “For National Land, the ways we will provide unprecedented results for clients on this new Florida forefront are endless.”

National Land Realty President Jason Burbage said the merger is mutually beneficial.

“Ben Crosby has built a tremendous land brokerage business in Florida and the Southeast and we’re excited to welcome him and his team of brokers into the National Land family,” he said. “This merger will allow us to benefit from Crosby’s extensive presence across the Sunshine State and the Southeast U.S., and they’ll have access to our state-of-the-art technology, marketing and support capabilities. In addition, they’ll be able to tap into our national team of expert brokers to leverage their unique knowledge and to do deals around the country.”

Coldwell Banker’s Rookie of the year: Katarina Conhyea

Coldwell Banker Realty has named Coral Gables agent Katarina Conhyea Rookie of the Year.’

Narrowing more than 94,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates, Conhyea achieved the title by grossing $5.7 in sales volume in 2019.

“Congratulations to Katarina on such a wonderful achievement during your first year with Coldwell Banker Realty,” said Coldwell Banker Realty Florida President Clark Toole in a press release. “Her passion and commitment to her clients shines through in this award. We look forward to even more years of success for Katarina.”

 This award is given to newly licensed individual sales associate who rank number one in North America among other “rookies” within the Coldwell Banker brand in GCI within their first 18 months’ in the real estate industry. 

Brand change: NRT announces new company name.

 Real estate giant NRT recently released their new company name. The parent company of Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, and Sotheby’s International Realty changed their name to Realogy Brokerage Group.

“As Realogy continues to transform from a holding company to a true operator of leading residential real estate brands, brokerages and businesses, we have made significant progress in simplifying our organization to focus on our core drivers,” Realogy President and CEO Ryan Schneider said in a statement. “Renaming our operating segments further streamlines how we communicate the real estate services we offer and amplifies the Realogy name across the primary work we do.”
