Miami Beach was ranked No. 6 in realtor.com’s Top Ten Hottest Waterfront Real Estate Markets.

Florida cities dominated the full top 10 list:

2. Naples, FL
3. Myrtle Beach, SC
4. Delray Beach, FL
5. Vero Beach, FL
6. Miami Beach, FL
7. Jupiter, FL
8. Lake Worth, FL
9. Venice, FL
10. Palm Harbor, FL

Using data from NOAA’s National Ocean service, realtor.com found the nation’s beach towns that are attracting the most would-be buyers in 2015. The reator.com data team filtered out houses that are on inlets or without direct access to a beach. They also excluded cities with more than 100,000 population to focus on small town areas. Miami Beach placed No. 6, with the median list price of $569,000.

Miami Beach was also listed in the top 10 beach towns for four types of vacationers, placing No. 5 for the “active vacationer,” No. 4 for the “sun worshiper,” and finally No. 1 for the “partier.”
