Newgard Development Group has announced that reservations have been converted to contracts at its new Gale Boutique Hotel and Residences at 2900 Riomar St. and 410 Bayshore Dr. in Fort Lauderdale Beach. Construction of the $120 million project is expected to begin later this fall and reach completion in 2017.

“We’re seeing buyers from Florida, as well as the Northeast, Canada and Latin America, which promises a diverse community that reflects the population of South Florida” said Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, the project’s sales and marketing brokerage.

When finished, the Gale will be 12 stories high, and will have 129 units with one, two and three-bedroom condominiums and townhomes, with views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.

Residence features will include gourmet Italian-style kitchens, spa-style bathrooms and walk-in closets. Amenities for the complex will include a rooftop sunset lounge, a fully-equipped spa and multiple pools.

Pre-construction prices range from the mid $400,000s to more than $1.2 million. The units will range in size from 850 to 2,200 square feet.

The project’s hotel component will be managed by Menin Hospitality, and will include room service, pool-side towel service, catering and car services.
