Miami Art Week kicked off this year with a salute to Miami’s champions for art and culture. On Dec. 1, Conrad Miami saluted those prominent members of the arts and culture community in South Florida who have paved the way for Miami to become the flourishing arts and cultural destination it is today.

Miami’s champions were honored with a private luncheon on at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Atrio Restaurant + Wine Room on the 25th floor. The celebration featured a live art demonstration by artist Franscisco Ceron in collaboration with the Nina Torres Fine Art Gallery. Eighty guests enjoyed the luncheon, including the Host Committee for the event: Monty Trainer, Dennis Scholl, Virginia Miller, Carol Damian, Lilia Garcia, and George Neary.
