This week, we talked with Reginald Dunlap, owner and principal interior designer for Luxe Design and Finishing, who shared his important construction management tips. 

1. Know what construction work is being performed. Research items provided within the “scope of work” in order to be able to have constructive dialog with the contractors.

2. Visit job-site daily for quality control.

3. Have weekly meetings with contractors or any other vendors related to the project to keep everyone on the same page. Sometimes ideas can be interpreted differently from customer to contractor.
