Bruno Ricci is the Senior Realtor with Fortune International Realty in Miami.

Every week, we ask a Miami real estate professional for their thoughts on the top three stories from the week before.

This week, we talked with Bruno Ricci, the Senior Realtor with Fortune International Realty in Miami. A real estate professional for nearly 30 years, Bruno works in such prestigious areas as Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles, Miami Beach and Brickell. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Bruno has lived in Miami for 20 years, and focuses on both new construction developments and Miami’s ever-growing Latin population.

Miami Agent (MA): Miami’s real estate market has undergone some pronounced changes in recent years; where do you see the market heading in the next couple of years?

Bruno Ricci (BR): I strongly believe that Miami will consolidate itself in the next few years as another capital of the world of the likes of New York and London. Miami is no longer viewed as just another tropical destination.

Due to the controversial economic and political situation in some Latin countries, Miami has been the focal point for Latin investors to transfer their business or start up a new one; furthermore, the endless opportunities that this city has to offer, along with its appealing landscape and lively atmosphere, has brought about the interest of investors and businessmen from all over the world.

This city is the reflection of the future of America. Miami is rich in cultural diversity, art in all its form, economic progress and luxury living.

MA: Interestingly, recent studies suggest that home prices in the city of Miami are outpacing that of the neighboring suburbs. Does that seem consistent with your business, based on what properties your clients are most interested in?

BR: Indeed, the house prices in Miami have increased significantly in recent months along with their demand, which mean two things: one, the economy in South Florida, especially in Miami, is finally picking up, mainly due to the real estate business booming now more than ever; and two, because of the sudden improvement in the economy, buyers are investing and buying more and more units from the different projects emerging all over Miami. That is great news for all of us Realtors, developers and everybody involved in the real estate business.

MA: Finally, foreign demand for Miami real estate remains extremely high; how do you appeal to foreign homebuyers, particularly through travel or other outreach efforts?

BR: Miami is an amazing city that appeals to people all around the world, largely due to its diversity and the vast opportunities for investment and entrepreneurship. When I travel, I always talk about the projects Fortune International Realty has to offer, both the ones already completed and the ones on the rise.

Selling real estate in Miami outside the United States is not a difficult task. Prospective buyers from other countries will enjoy the latest in technology and top-of-the-line architecture, design and amenities in every unit I sell, along with breathtaking views to the ocean from every angle of the apartments.

I specialize in luxury real estate offering housing in the most exclusive areas of Miami, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Brickell, Key Biscayne and downtown Miami. Foreign buyers will enjoy the wonders of Miami and the vibrant social atmosphere of this great city at its best.
