Florida Realtors, formerly known as the Florida Association of Realtors, has recently joined forces with 10k Research and Marketing to launch a statewide housing market report.

10k, a company which specializes in putting out appealing marketing reports, has partnered with seven other U.S. states to create market reports for local realtors. This will be the first Florida statewide housing market report to be released.

According to Agent Genius, 10k says “A housing trends report will also be created by 10K for Florida Realtors that will provide an accurate, first-of-its-kind picture of statewide market trends in Florida. As part of the project, Florida Realtors is launching a new Industry Data and Analysis division that will solidify the organization’s position as the go-to resource for all real estate information involving the state of Florida.”

Information for the report will be gathered from Florida’s multiple listing service, or MLS. A partnership between 10k and Florida Realtors means that everything 10k releases about Florida’s housing market will bear the name and logo of Florida Realtors; Florida Realtors will become the go-to organization for all things residential real estate in Florida.

John Tucillo, chief economist for Florida Realtors, believes that his organization will not be the only party benefitting from the report. “The creation of a unique Industry Data and Analysis division at Florida Realtors is an important step in the ongoing development of organized real estate information in Florida and the nation. The 10K product will serve as an important cornerstone of this forward-thinking group.”
