As the daughter of an immigrant family, Maggie Perez’s parents taught her that success is earned by rolling up her sleeves, working hard and doing the right thing each and every time. Growing up working after school and weekends in the family business, Perez was the first college graduate in her family. “My parents built a successful and strong legacy using their reputation of integrity as cornerstones and always caring for and treating their customers with respect and honesty,” she shares. “Those are the same values that identify me as an individual and are the trademark of my professional reputation.”
A producing sales manager with Guaranteed Rate, Perez started her loan origination career as the mortgage industry was peaking in the early 2000s. “I always understood that staying on top of new product knowledge, mastering guidelines and having the ability to adopt and exercise the correct habits would allow me to rise above the competition,” she explains. “In this industry, building relationships, partnerships and strong referral resources and developing a long-term strategy are the keys to success.”
Perez credits her success to making recommendations based on fact finding and individual customer needs. She and her clients discuss long-term goals and develop strategies to overcome challenges to stay on the path of financial prosperity. “I make a point to educate and become a financial resource and trusted advisor to my clients,” she insists. “I coach them and help them make wiser financial decisions.”
Perez achieved President’s Conference at Weichert Financial Services, her previous employer, every year of the past decade.
