Rosa Canao

Rosa Canao
Top Producer, International Sales Executive
Botaniko Weston–Terra Realty

When Rosa Canao talks about her job, a passion for the real estate business shines through. “There are a lot of things I love of the industry: The people, the products, the houses, the projects, the feelings of the people when I’m helping them to buy their dreams houses. This makes my days in the industry a very fun and exciting adventure,” she says.

Canao, an international in-house sales executive for Terra Realty, has worked in the preconstruction real estate market in Miami for 12 years, focusing on luxury properties the last seven years. She represents developers and works with buyers, sellers, real estate agents and investors.

A top producer since 2012, Canao’s clients often note in testimonials that she has extensive knowledge of the luxury real estate market, and that she’s friendly and reliable throughout the entire sales process. Canao is also a Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist and Certified International Property Specialist.

Canao said every year her proudest accomplishment has been being a part of the “masterpiece project called Botaniko,” for which Terra Realty serves as the sales team. Botaniko is the first master-planned, single-family residential community to be developed in Weston in over a decade, according to Terra. The Botaniko Weston community consists of 125 modern, private single-family homes on 121 acres of land.

Canao is the exclusive representative of Botaniko Weston, Modern Doral and Neovita — some of the most prestigious communities in Miami. This past year, she helped Botaniko Weston surpass the $100 million mark. She was also recently appointed to the Fort Lauderdale board of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Canao was born in Sydney, Australia, but she grew up between Portugal and Venezuela. As a young girl, she wanted to travel around the world and learn about other cultures. Her first job in real estate was with the development Ocean Reserve in Sunny Isles Beach. “I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, which has contributed to my success in connecting with clients and opening new markets in South America,” she says.

Canao is a founding member of the groundbreaking Latinas Power Movement and a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors of Florida. In her free time, Canao loves going to the beach and traveling. She has traveled to Australia, China, Egypt and many other international destinations.
