As the Sales Director at Cervera Real Estate’s Coconut Grove office, Mitzi Mitchell Burns leverages her two decades of real estate experience to serve buyers and sellers throughout the greater Miami area. “In my years as a real estate agent, I would say that I have worked with just about every type of client out there,” she says, adding that her current client base consists mostly of those looking to complete the transaction within a month. For the first 12 years of her career, Burns specialized in pre-construction sales and new developments, and while that’s no longer her primary focus, she continues to assist customers who are eager to be first in line to experience modern luxury and the latest amenities. Recently, Burns began introducing her clients to the Markers Grove Isle in Coconut Grove.

Dedicated to personal and professional development, Burns has been a coaching client at the Mike Ferry Organization for more than 10 years and has completed every available Cervera training program. She also commits to attending four real estate conferences a year to stay abreast of the latest industry trends. In 2017, she and her husband attended Tony Robbins’ Unleashing the Power Within event, as well as her church’s Global Leadership Conference. “The accountability involved in coaching has grown my business substantially,” says Burns, attributing her four-year streak as a top producer and President’s Circle status to her participation.

Burns is a volunteer at Christ Journey Church and a member of Condo Experts and the Master Brokers Forum, two communities that foster networking and information sharing among Miami’s top agents. She and her husband also sponsor a child through World Vision.
