The International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) offers the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) to members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to teach them how to do referrals with other real estate agents all over the world. The certification is creating a network of qualified professionals throughout the countries that
are part of ICREA.
In the United States, there are an increasing number of agents who are realizing the potential that the TRC provides and are becoming certified. Once an agent becomes certified, his name appears and is searchable on www.worldproperties.com. At that point, other certified agents throughout the world can contact him more easily to do business. Agents who have the TRC have increased knowledge and credibility, and the ability to expand their business. The TRC is an immediate introduction to other TRC members to do business.
In other countries, the trend to obtain the TRC is somewhat slower. In France, for example, there were only three TRC certifications in the entire country, that is, until the program on March 24 at the Salon de l’Immobilier at the Palais de Congres de la Porte Maillot in Paris.
As a result of the new partnership, RAMB and FNAIM Paris-Ile de France jointly presented the TRC program to over 50 French professionals. RAMB members who are fluent in French served as instructors, presenting the TRC and a seminar on buying property in South Florida to nearly 100 French professionals. Both sessions followed a private networking business session for RAMB/FNAIM Paris professionals in the Salon conference center, which was great evidence of the mutual opportunities.
Previously, South Florida agents had access to three French professionals with whom they could conduct business. Now, they can choose from over 40 and even narrow their searches by language, specialty, region, etc. The newly certified agents appear on www.worldproperties.com within two weeks of submitting their applications.
