ONE Sotheby’s hires London-based agent to drive international sales

by John Yellig

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is expanding its reach across the Atlantic with the appointment of London-based Liza Lamar as managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) relations.

In her new role, Lamar will focus on London and Florida and seek to bridge ONE Sotheby’s United States operations with overseas feeder markets. The 15-year luxury real estate veteran will also serve as a business-development consultant between the brokerage and United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty.

Before accepting her new position, Lamar conducted outreach for the brokerage while based in London and helped make ONE Sotheby’s an industry leader catering to London’s art collectors, according to an announcement.

The appointment comes as South Florida real estate remains one of the primary U.S. destinations for overseas real estate investments.

A Miami native, Lamar holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies from the University of Miami and attended Parsons School of Design.

“We are thrilled to officially welcome Liza to the ONE Sotheby’s International Realty family,” ONE Sotheby’s President Daniel de la Vega said in a press release. “Appointing her as our managing director of EMEA relations is a strategic move to further strengthen our global footprint and showcase our prestigious new development projects to a significant overseas audience.”

“This role is more than bridging markets, it’s about understanding the evolving needs of our global clientele,” Lamar added. “Whether we are working with a tech entrepreneur seeking a Miami pied-a-terre, or a London based art collector eyeing a Palm Beach space, we are dedicated to delivering excellence.”
