Members of the Pinellas REALTOR® Organization/Central Pasco REALTOR® Organization (PRO/CPRO) and Greater Tampa REALTORS® (GTR) voted to merge and become Tampa Bay REALTORS®, pending approval from the National Association of REALTORS®.
Combined, the new organization will serve more than 24,000 Realtors in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties. It will also become the third-largest Realtor group in Florida and the sixth-largest in the U.S., according to an announcement.
The merged association will continue participating in Stellar MLS as its second-largest shareholder, and MLS services will remain intact. Tampa Bay REALTORS® will maintain all three local service centers, staff and charitable foundations. PRO/CPRO CEO David Bennett and GTR CEO Jason Outman will lead the group as co-CEOs.
“To consumers, Tampa Bay is one thriving region,” 2024 Greater Tampa REALTORS® President Adam Grenville said in a press release. “With unification, members can leverage the incredible resources across both associations to provide real estate services throughout the Tampa Bay area with three service centers for more in-person support and a larger combined staff to support member needs.”
