What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
During high school, I worked with the seals at the Miami Seaquarium.

I wanted to be in law enforcement.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Go fishing.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Warren Buffett because he has great knowledge about investing.

Pasta e Basta, an authentic Italian restaurant in Miami that focuses on handmade pasta dishes and traditional sauces.
What do you love most about the industry?
The people — the clients we meet — as well as the hustle of the trade.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Patience
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Farming and networking.

I have been binge watching Peaky Blinders and listening to Joe Rogan’s podcast lately.

One Thousand Museum, designed by architect Zaha Hadid.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
When we were a Fannie Mae broker during the 2008 financial downfall, we received a foreclosure asset that had over 30 dead cats inside the house. The windows looked as if they were painted black, but they weren’t. It was the number of dead flies one on top of each other. The house was treated as a hazmat situation.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I cry during movies.

Portugal
