Global real estate network Luxury Real Estate (LRE) honored Jupiter Realtor Rob Thomson with its Extraordinary Philanthropy Award for the second time. The Waterfront Properties and Club Communities owner and managing partner first won the award in 2018.

Thomson’s philanthropic efforts include providing over $100,000 in financial support for Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee, as well as $50,000 for the construction of the organization’s Senior Sanctuary. He’s also made contributions totaling over $200,000 to the Hanley Foundation, Jupiter Medical Center, the Juno Beach and Tequesta police departments, Charities for Children, and Jupiter and Dwyer high schools.

“If you can give back, give back to the people,” Thomson said in a press release. “It feels good to give.”

In addition to his honor from LRE, Thomson was also recognized as the Florida Association of REALTORS®’ Humanitarian of the Year in August.
