Miami is the second-best city in the U.S. for creatives, according to an analysis from Workamajig.
The project management software company assessed every city in the U.S. with a population over 100,000 people and measured them in various categories connected to creativity. Those include museums per capita, the number of jobs in industries such as marketing, arts and design, number of artists and musicians, plus film and music festivals per capita.
With 31, Miami has more music festivals than any other city in the analysis. The city also scored well for its number of film festivals and artists.
“With its famous Art Deco buildings, vibrant music scene and one of the most diverse populations of any major metropolitan area, it’s no wonder the Magic City is a top creative destination in the country,” the report said.
Atlanta ranked No. 1 overall. Fort Lauderdale was No. 29, and West Palm Beach ranked No. 91.
