The Keyes Company has acquired a boutique brokerage and expanded its operations with a new office on Miami’s Brickell Key.

Keyes takes over the space and operations at 615 Brickell Key Drive previously occupied by Brickell Royalty. Brickell Royalty’s agents are now affiliated with Keyes, Florida’s largest independent real estate firm, a news release said.

Brickell Key has 11 high-rise condominium buildings and 2,000 residents on 44 acres. 

“We are thrilled to open this new office, which positions us to accommodate a Brickell market population that exceeds 100,000 people,” Keyes/Illustrated CEO Mike Pappas said. “It also provides a convenient workplace for our associates who live on Brickell Key or in Brickell. I applaud our Senior Vice President Steven Reibel and Patrizia Pluchino for their efforts in making this expansion possible.”

The Keyes Company indicated its future could include further expansion.

“Securing a Brickell Key office is a fantastic start to 2022,” Reibel said. “We are speaking with other Brickell-area firms about potential opportunities to further expand through strategic mergers. We will pursue such opportunities throughout our entire footprint across South Florida and the Treasure Coast.”
