135 Palm on Palm Island hits market for $34 million

by Kerrie Kennedy

An ultra-luxury contemporary spec home on Miami Beach’s Palm Island has been listed for $34 million, making it the most expensive home on the island.

Jeff Miller of Brown Harris Stevens and Mathieu Rochette of Compass share the listing in a rare joint effort between the two brokerages.

“South Florida and specifically Miami Beach have been top of mind for many high net worth individuals and families when considering where to base themselves throughout the pandemic and this property sets itself apart from the rest of the limited inventory,” said Miller in a press release.

The 11,058 square foot waterfront home, designed and built by Sabal Development, features eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three half bathrooms and a separate guest house above a six-car garage.

The move-in ready home offers custom decor by interior designer Rita Chraibi, who selected styles from international designers Christian Lacroix and Jean Paul Gaultier’s collections for Roche Bobois to style the interiors.

Outside, the property features a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, kitchen, covered dining area, separate cabana room with full bathroom and dockage for yachts up to 100 feet.

“Because of the current circumstances, even people with great means are opting to spend most of their time in their private homes,” added Rochette in the press release. “This makes the most discerning clients even more demanding than ever.”

Two other Miami properties developed by Sabal Development have sold since August, one for $4.65 million and another for $7 million, both sold by Rochette
