What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? In college, I worked at the Apple Store. The Apple employee training and culture is incredible.
Where did you grow up? My early years in South Jersey and later moved just north of Tampa, Florida.
Growing up, what did you want to be? A business owner
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway on my boat and look at the gorgeous properties.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Bob Igor, chairman and CEO of Walt Disney. Bob has led Disney for two decades with incredible foresight on how technology would change the media business, continually innovating Disney’s brands to stay relevant to the marketplace.
Where is Miami’s best-kept secret? Jungle Island – an attraction that lets you escape to a tropical paradise and yet you are just ten minutes to downtown.
What do you love most about the industry? No two days or properties are the same. Every day is a new challenge.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Disengaging from work
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Become the market expert in whatever condo building, neighborhood, or community you live in. People will want to work with you, the expert.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? I am currently reading Shoe Dog by Nike’s founder Phil Knight.
What’s your favorite meal in Miami? I love all fresh fish.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? One Thousand Museum.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I fell into a pool fully clothed.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I tripled my business in the last 24 months to over $50 million in annual sales.
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? My wife and I love the Boca Raton Resort and Club. It’s 45 mins from our home, we can dock our boat at the marina, and there are plenty of activities for Jona, our 16-month-old daughter.
