One of the main hurdles agents have to overcome on a regular basis is having their listings seen by the people who are most likely to be interested in it. While previous wisdom was to get the ad in front of as many people as possible, now many agents are looking to target specific demographics in specific locations. A new partnership between Homesnap and Waze aims to help them achieve that goal.
Homesnap is a home search platform for agents and clients that allows people to search MLS real estate listings online. It has partnered with the navigation app Waze to provide agents with Waze Ads by Homesnap, a new tool meant to reach homebuyers through geo targeted ads.
Agents can target buyers driving near their listings with ads featuring homes for sale. When purchasing Waze Ads by Homesnap through the Homesnap platform, agents can promote their listings in two ways.
The first is through map pins featuring the listing’s photo, which will appear when people navigate near the listing and expand to reveal more information. The second is through sponsored search results that appear when drivers search for a related or nearby address. Users will be able to save listings and contact listing agents. Brokers and teams can also highlight their logos through branded pins and digital billboards that display on drivers’ screens when stopped.
“Agents deserve marketing tools that reach their clients where they are, whether they are on their phones, at a desk or in their cars. Waze Ads by Homesnap makes Homesnap agents smarter and better equipped to serve their clients,” said Lou Mintzer, SVP of product development at Homesnap. “We’re very excited to be working with Waze, a company that pioneered community-based mobile navigation, on this game-changing product.”
