13th Floor Investments, Key International Announce Purchase

On Thursday, Sept. 3, 13th Floor Investments and Key International announced that they have closed on a $30.5 million, five-acre purchase at 16385 Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami Beach.

The firms plan to use the land to build a two-tower, 425-unit luxury condominium on the waterfront, called the Harbour. Groundbreaking is planned for winter 2015.

With units priced from $650 per square foot, the company already has sold 70 percent of the available units, after it began converting reservations to contracts in May 2015.

“We are well underway,” said Inigo Ardid, co-president of Key International. “Today’s closing…continues the Harbour’s forward momentum.”

All residences within the two 32-story towers will have private elevators, expansive balconies and open floor plans.

Other amenities for residents will include access to an Aqua club, a private beach club, an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar, and a children’s water park.

Remaining units range from 1,032 to  2,442 square feet and are priced from $552,000 to $1.2 million.
