A recent Craigslist ad for a Humboldt Park apartment in Chicago, Ill. bore some unfamiliar words to real estate advertising. Cathy Mcdonagh, the property manager of the listed apartment, described the $895 three-bedroom unit as “super UGLY” with “zero character.” Rather than wasting potential renter’s time, Mcdonagh wanted to be upfront about the less than flattering apartment. And lucky for her, people are still interested in renting the unit. See pictures of this “ugly” Chicago apartment.
