Every week, we ask a Miami real estate professional for their thoughts on the top three stories from the week before. This week, we spoke with Michael Grinberg, a Realtor associate with Opulence International Realty.
Miami Agent (MA): What is something you picked up as owner of your own event production company that has translated well into real estate?
Michael Grinberg (MG): I think many of the skills I’ve honed while organizing and putting on events had a strong carry over to the real estate industry. Among these, I think the most beneficial have been my ability to gauge my client base and what their needs are, along with the understanding and importance of building lasting relationships.
MA: A recent article discussed the importance of transportation and how congestion has been a continuous problem for Miami. How important is walkability to your clients, and what areas have you found offer the best walkability?
MG: Thankfully, Miami scores highly in walkability amongst the largest cities in the U.S. To my clients, this is always a main deal point. Downtown, Wynwood/Edgewater and Brickell are amongst the most walkable neighborhoods in my opinion and provide an abundance of culture that is only found in the Magic City.
MA: How important has education been to your business, and how would you suggest agents keep themselves educated?
MG: Education has been essential to not just my business, but to my personal development. I believe that someone can’t evolve and keep growing as a professional, let alone a human being, if they aren’t always looking for ways to better themselves and grow their catalog of information. Agents are only as good as the knowledge they possess. I would suggest to every agent out there to never stop pursing that knowledge, to take classes, to read books, and to just be in the know.
EXCELLENT REPORT.
I AGREE WITH THE TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM IN MIAMI
