Tanya Horruitiner is a Realtor Associate with The Campins Company in Miami.

Every week, we ask a Miami real estate professional for their thoughts on the top three stories from the week before.

This week, we talked with Tanya Horruitiner, a Realtor Associate with The Campins Company in Miami. A Realtor since 1993, Tanya is a multimillion dollar producer, and has represented such developments as Regatta at Indian Creek, The Akoya, The Caribbean and Brickell on the River. She is fluent in Spanish and French, and currently pursuing a degree in international relations at Florida International University.

Miami Agent (MA): We recently looked at data that showed what main services clients desired from their agents; based on your clientele, what are the main services that you find you provide?

Tanya Horruitiner (TH): The services that I offer my clients would be my expertise in the field of pre-construction/new construction properties.  I am keen on the developer contracts and how that aspect of the industry works systematically.

Considering that the majority of my clients are foreigners, I recommend them to both real estate and immigrations attorney who are highly regarded; that provides peace of mind for the client, and they’re best interest is my concern.

MA: Our latest inside edition, which concerned the best in real estate tech, continues to generate interest from our readers. Are there any apps, or software, websites, etc., that you find especially important to your real estate business?

TH: FoxBusiness.com provides up-to-date information across the board, which I find beneficial. I also follow Zillow, as prospective clients tend to browse the site. I will constantly compare the MLS system to Zillow, as information changes rapidly when the market is in an upswing that we are now experiencing.

MA: Finally, our analysis of the most prominent trends in housing found a large readership; what trends are you following the closest in Miami’s housing market right now?

TH: The Miami trend that I am following is the current boom of restaurants and art culture throughout the city. Miami is so culture rich that just about every renowned chef is opening up shop in the Magic City.

I find that the opening of restaurants, cafes and bistros pumped money into the local economy and subsequently create not only a new movement, if you will, but thriving neighborhoods where people want to live, work and play.
