Miami No. 3 Market in the U.S. for Foreign Consumers

Miami remains a top destination for a wide variety of international homebuyers, according to new stats from MAR.

Another month, another rousing period of international interest in Miami’s housing market.

According to the latest analysis by the Miami Association of Realtors (MAR), Miami was the third most-searched U.S. city among foreign homebuyers, with only Los Angeles and Detroit garnering more attention from the international community.

“These property search statistics are indicative of Miami’s status as a major global city,” said Fernando I. Martinez, the 2013 president of MAR. “Miami real estate continues to attract attention from all over the U.S. and from worldwide markets. Such attention is driving sales and fueling the robust performance of the Miami real estate market.”
