The Master Brokers Forum South Palm Beach chapter recently held a high level presentation called the Powerful Edge for their members at AZURA by Toll Brothers in Boca Raton.

Established in 1993, the Master Brokers Forum (MBF) is a unique organization comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate professionals.  The MBF provides its members with the opportunity to network and exchange ideas, stay at the cutting edge of the real estate industry. The event was attended by more than 50 MBF members at the new luxury communities 7500 square foot club-house.

Following a brief cocktail reception, the guests were welcomed to AZURA by sales manager Michael Vanisacker, who introduced the intimate, gated community of 92 homes, and informed members about Toll Brothers’ special Platinum Realtor Club program.

“The Powerful Edge: Issues Affecting Florida’s Real Estate and Economy” was led by Florida Association of Realtors secretary Matey Veissi, and the organization’s senior political representative, Jack Greacen. The two discussed a series of critical advocacy and legislative initiatives being led by the state’s largest trade association, including the preservation of Florida homeowners’ mortgage interest deduction, and the prohibiting of Florida cities and counties from charging individual real estate agents a business license fee, beginning later this year.

“This was a wonderful gathering of new and longtime Master Brokers, and an enlightening glimpse into how our trade association actively protects its members,” said Lucille Gioia, chair of the South Palm Beach MBF. “We are eternally grateful to our friends at Toll Brothers for their support of the broker community, and to Matey and Jack for their time and input.”
